Technical Terms Defined
- Gusset-
The folded side panel of the bag which when unfolded increases its holding capacity. See the illustration above. - Gauge-
A standard of measure indicating the thickness of the plastic used to manufacture a bag. The gauge of a bag is often indicated in mils or microns - Mil-
A unit of measure equal to one thousandth (10-3) of an inch (0.0254 millimeter), used to specify thickness. - Micron-
A metric unit of measure equal to one millionth of a meter. - Poly/polyethelene-
A polymerized ethylene resin, used especially for containers, kitchenware, and tubing, or in the form of films and sheets for packaging. - Film-
A thin sheet of material. The term is used here to refer to polyethelene formed into the plastic from which our bags are made. - Spot color-
Refers to a method of specifying and printing colors in which each color is printed with it's own ink. In contrast to process color printing which uses four inks (CMYK) to produce all other colors. - CMYK-
Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. The four process colors that are used in four-color printing.
Controls on the manufacturing process
We use no heavy metals in the manufacture or printing of our plastic bags. Unlike some companies, who import and sell bags manufactured outside the USA, we can certify that there is no harmful lead (or any other heavy metal) in the high quality product we deliver to you.

Requesting Product Samples

Minimum order
Unlike many of our competitors we have a low 2 case minimum order. We do, however, recommend that you buy in bulk as our already low prices get significantly lower as order quantity increases.

Our Customer Satisfaction Guarantee
The industry average defect rate in plastic bag manufacture is up to about 2%. We promise that the quality of your shipped order will exceed this standard. We take pride in serving our customers honestly and well. If you are not satisfied with your order contact us and we will work hard to resolve your concerns.

Turnaround time for orders
Unprinted or non-custom printed bags ship 10 business days after receipt of order. Custom printed orders ship 20 business days after customer approval of artwork mockup.

Calculating Shipping charges
Shipping charges are determined by the case size and or weight (most bags ship 1000 per case), the number of cases, and the shipping zone for delivery.

Shipping methods
We ship orders using UPS ground. Some larger orders may be shipped via common carrier. The shipping cost will never exceed the amount charged in the cart and in some cases may be less. If you wish to arrange for rush shipping please call customer service at 1-866-531-9414.
